I currently have a linux plan setup and have the cgi chat script installed via control panel. I do have the .cgi extension mapped and cgi is enabled.
Now, besides the side issue of not being allowed to add files manually (ftp, online file manager) to the cgi directory … have anybody got their cgi scripts to even run instead of showing source?

You can upload to the cgi-bin, no problem at all in doing that.
Yes, many have it working.
If you can give me the domain at hand, I will check the hpshere setting side of things for you.
Thanks. For some reason the file manager always says unable to upload file when trying to upload to cgi dir …
Anyways, domain is unformed.com .. it has a cgi-dir, etc. and at least when i upload a script to /proxy/ dir, it shows the script instead of execute it.
I used webshell with no issues, however, I think the error lies in the non parsed headers area, not in the server settings, the scrpt requires to be run as nph-, which I don’t know ANYTHING about.
