Application in Sub Domain.....

I was under the impression that you could create .net applications in sub-domains no? I keep getting an error, and I’m not sure why. The application works fine if I move it into the root:
http://www.sitespeak.com/

but as a sub domain I get an error:
http://forums.sitespeak.com/

even though I have it set-up to show errors in the web.config, it won’t.

Am I wrong about being able to run applications in sub domains, or am I missing something else?

Just as a note, a subdomain is automatically created as an app folder.
