Are there any limits on file sizes that reside on the servers?

Because, since yesterday I have been trying to download a zip file with size 32.5 MB but I didn?t have any luck. I get an error that says the connection was reset from the server and the maximum speed seems to be around 50 ? 55 Kb/Sec. Moreover, I have attempted to download this file from multiple locations and ISPs.

Thanks in advance. ?(

I’ve never had problems with this, at least not with FTP or HTTP.

I max out my DSL as 179kb/s quite regularly. We have tons of bandwidth available, and we do not throttle the downloads.

I’m getting this problem as well.

I have 2 different files. One 217mb and the other 47mb

I am yet to be succesful downloading either of these files without getting ‘The connection with the server was reset’. There’s no consistency as to when it fails, very odd. Download speeds average 80/90kbps. I usually get 210kpbs.

Tried downloading large files from microsoft, download.com etc without any problems.

Would there be any firewall/router/network settings that would be resetting connections?

Thanks
Greg

What server are you on? Can you give me a download link I’d like to try it for myself..

win8 - I’ve PM’d the link to you.

Thanks
Greg

I have a 40MB file on my account that I downloaded without issues and my visitors download too. Account is on Win8..

I am getting about 100kbps off my 256kbps modem which I see as absolutely normal.. I normally get not more than 150kbps off any site..
