I was wondering if this is a Plesk limitation that it shows support for 1.x but not 2.x?

I can install asp.net 2.0 for you from a template(does not use as much HD space), Plesk fully supports 2.0 even switching from the control panel.

It is installed now, you may need to restart your VPS from the power panel(you have the link near the end of the welcome mail), for it to show up.
