aspnet folder

Does anyone know if I can just delete the /aspnet folder that is automatically added to my Windows hosting accounts? So far none of my sites use .Net
Likewise for the aspnet_client folder.

I know I can just tell spiders not to index these with a robots.txt file, but this always seems more like a way to tell hackers that the folders are there.

Can remove if you don’t need .net, they hold the validation scripts for asp.net and some minor things like this.
