Associate ZIP files with Windows and not with Power Acrhiver

I installed power archiver and now it automatically opens all my zip files. I only want it to open tar.gz files. I have went under options in power archiver and removed the check box to associate that file type but it still opens up with power archiver. I want to assign that file extension to be handled by windows like it was when I bought the computer.

How do I get ZIP back to Windows without uninstalling power archiver?

which version of windows?

you can try right clicking on it and going Open With → select program, and then use at the bottom be sure to check use this prgram and select the windows explorer.
