Billing account deleted, can't file a ticket

So, I need to file a ticket because one of my clients is having issues attempting to install the latest version of Wordpress. He gets this error:

Download failed.: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

But, you guys disabled / deleted my billing.jodohost account. Except my account is not truly gone.. I can’t sign up because it says an account with that email already exists. If I ask for a password reset it says that no account by that email address exists.

Not that I had that much ticket history there, but I hate to lose it yet again (already lost the history when you switched systems). I’m running out of email addresses to use to sign up for your systems. I shouldn’t have to create a new email account just to access your support system.

We request you to contact us on Live chat from the home page of www.Jodohost.com. and let us know the email address being used. So we can check it further

This just means your account was set to inactive by the system. This can happen if or example you buy an SSL cert and do not renew it or cancel it, it sometimes will set the account to inactive which won’t allow login.
If you email [email protected] or come on live chat we can change your account status to active and all old tickets, history etc will be intact.

Thanks, chatting now.

I think this stems from some confusion. I asked for a Plesk account to be closed (customer left me) and because your new system has no history from the old system, it probably seemed that I wanted the entire account closed not just that Plesk server. At least you didn’t close my whole reseller account!

Well, the guy on chat can’t help me. I have to email billing@ which just adds more delay to my client’s issue. I just lost one long-time client because of issues like this. I have a feeling I’m about to lose another.

Yesterday, I replied a ticket for the same issue and i thought its from you. However, This is because Wordpress is using its own certificate bundle, overriding the global system certificate bundle. The problem is that the certificate bundle that Wordpress has is old and needs to be updated. To do this, please download the latest one from http://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem and save it as ca-bundle.crt

Note: the best way to download it is by right clicking on the link above, and select “Download Linked File” (Safari), or “Save Link As…” (Firefox, Chrome). Alternatively you can use the browser menu File → Save As, but you must upload the file as ASCII / Text mode, not Binary.

Upload this file to: wp-includes/certificates/ca-bundle.crt

please mail on HELPLINE address as stated before, I have zero access to billing@ emails to mailing there will not get you anywhere. You need to email helpline, which goes to managers and management. I mentioned this before, and can solve this pretty quickly, but I dont know what needs help if I don’t get the mail.

I registered a new address and probably was the guy you responded to, Shubham. It apparently didn’t work for my client, but I’m still following up with him on that. If I have more questions, I’ll put them in that ticket.

Thanks, feel free to hit the helpline if you need another email address activated by your preference
