Blacklists?

I am just curious if other user’s have seen an increased number of accounts being effected by mailservers being on a blacklist. I currently have several tickets open (actually On Hold) with JH support trying to resolve issues. One of our accounts can’t even e-mail us. I’ve been dealing with blacklist issues for several months, but in the last week at least 4 of our clients have reported problem e-mailing.

On a side note, in Hsphere, how can we tell what mailserver an account is using?

blacklist issue, can you PM me ticket#?
mail server, simply ping ‘mail.domain.tld’, and you will see something like:

Pinging mail4.m****here.biz …

or

Pinging mail4.your-service-domain.tld …

Another way, look at DNS configuration of the domain.

Here are a couple of tickets I submitted over the last 6 days. Starting 1-21-2011. So this problem is now 6 days old. Never, ever did support say any mail servers were blacklisted or what the problem really was. So we are left trying to figure out what is wrong with the email services ourselves.

How about status header entry on this forum of Jodo blacklisted servers at any given time. Or is it that the customer should try to figure out what is wrong with a Jodo service. I know when this happens I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what is wrong.

Does Jodo have any influence about when their servers get removed from the blacklists?

mail1 issue has been taken care of. As soon as this migration process is complete, I’ll look into improvement of these spam related issues.
Please let me know if there is anything pending now.

No cigar. No more bounced messages but the mail is not delivered either. I think I would rather have the bounced message. At least I know they didn’t go anywhere.

Can you mention sender and recipient email address in a ticket, and let me know the ticket# ?

Tammaya, please reference the above entry that has the ticket #s.
The messages are not bouncing now, but are not being delivered either. I can send messages to my address from other servers. So this is unique to JODO.

This is resolved. Can you tell me what was wrong? So I will be able to better pursue it next time.
thanks

A few anti-spam bodies take their own time to respond. This coupled with migration being on priority caused the delay.
