Got a request from a potential hosting client who wants email that supports “cached exchange mode.” I see it’s a client-side setting, but will it work with POP3 accounts? Or, do you need Exchange server?

This is exchange server only so far as I know
This feature can only be configured for Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail accounts. While Cached Exchange Mode is supported on Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 and later, users will have the best supported experience by using Cached Exchange Mode with Exchange Server 2003 or later.
