cannot sign into hotmail

I’m having problems signing into my hotmail account. On the sign-in page, my email address is typed in right, and the password is correct, but when I click “sign-in” it automatically goes to a search engine page everytime.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!!!

hhhmmm, sounds like uve got some spyware, or adware somewhere. I suggest google and search for ad aware, get that, update it, and scan everything.
Also, spyware blaster, and get an antivirus. Free one is AVG.

Just searh for them.

ad-aware and spybot

both free

Thanks so much for your help! I actually got my dad to look at my computer, and I think he took your advice and installed adware, or spyware, or something, and so now it’s working.

I too have heard excellent reviews on MS antispy - but the vast majority of Hotmail client problems is due the Microsoft/M$N shift in policy to disallow sending email from the client (OE or Outlook) [SIZE=6] UNLESS [/SIZE] You pay their extortion.

I actually ended up getting a Gmail account, and I found it’s so much better, and quicker, than Hotmail.
