cfmx dsn ms access & also path ???

hi, I am trying to set up (for the first time here) a dsn for an ms access db. since it is cfmx, do I need to put in a support request to have the dsn created in cfmx admin? also, how is the path supposed to be set up? physical path like mydbfolder\mydb.mdb or mydbfolder/mydb.mdb

Technically the control panel is supposed to make the DSNs, but it only has about a 50% success rate. I would recommend sending ticket with the full path in windows form(i.e. using \ the windows style) and the desired name,any passwords, etc.

well still waiting to hear something from support - can anyone at least let me know the correct format for setting the path in the admin, is it / or is it \ do I include the home folder above the web root ??? I mean is it /accountname/dbfolder/mydb.mdb or ??? thanks, megan
