Early today sites connecting to MySQL10 were having problems, now sites connecting to MySQL11 are having problems.
These range from slow loading to currently not loading at all - for CMS sites this means downtime!
I noticed it’s not isolated to a single server - is there a bigger issue?
We have applied a fix.It should be normal now.
Still having intermittent issues this morning - PHP error reporting says:
php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No address associated with hostname
I’ve received the same error message on Web 11 Accessing MySQL7 and Web 15 / Web 17 Accessing MySQL10
Those are the only servers I’m actively working with at the moment, but it leads me to believe the problem is more widespread.
Are there underlying network problems?
I hate to open a trouble ticket every single time there is a problem, and the problems will sometimes disappear for 10-15 minutes so it’s hard to identify the issue.
However, customers are getting annoyed when their website is “down” - and it’s hard to work when you never know if you’re going to hit a random database error!
