Connection Troubles - MSSQL4

I’m having problems with a new account and I’m wondering if something has changed that I missed.

New database was created on MSSQL4 and I’m trying to load data and table structure into it. I’m used to using Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer to log into the database and run scripts against it.

I can’t do this with MSSQL4 for some reason - I can ping the database server but I can’t for the life of me get any of my SQL tools to connect.

In addition, I can’t use the webbased SQL manager because this is for a CF server and ASP.NET things don’t work over there.

Do I need to submit a ticket or am I just missing something?

Dis you ask for DBO permissions? If not then create a ticket asking for it.

It’s not a matter of permissions - I can’t connect at all

There is a networking error we are working to resolve, it is working internally but not externally.
