Converting Access to MSSQL

I’m running invision portal v3 and currently use an Access database. Since moving my site here I would like to convert that db to MSSQL.

I have created my database and can run the SQL install script, but how do I convert the access db over?

Do I use the SQL install with the portal 1st, then upsize and move everything over using access and the upsizing wizard?

Do I upsize and move the tables 1st then run the SQL install?
