Creating a Secure Site

I have a client that will be setting up hosting services on JodoHost and wants to have an area that is protected by SSL.

I know that he will need to request a static IP, but what other steps will we need to do for him to get the secure environemnt set up? His application is going to be built in CF using MS SQL Server.

Just assigned a dedicated IP to his site and then enable SSL. He’ll need a SSL certificate as well

Any suggestions where to look for one? I know there are a number of different vendors but I’m not sure which one to go with.
