Hey guys - I have had a project going on with a client for a few months.
Around a month ago - I put allot of errort in trying to get VPS to work. You know, the one that is included in the resellers package?
Well after countless failed installs, bugs and troubles I began working with support closely. Pretty much had to have you guys reset it each time I needed to reinstall because of a new problem. During this time you guys said a new VPS platform was going to roll out. So I stopped trying to get the old CentOS VPS to work.
Now it seems the new VPS is not an upgrade or replacement to the current troubled VPS offering.
So I suppose, I am at a loss to what the heck the VPS included in the resellers package is even worth?
Do resellers get a certain amount of included accounts on the new platform?

I am not sure how this relates to what I was saying.
All in all, my experience has proven the current VPS (using CentOS) has major issues with HShere… It is so bad that i can not use it for the simple reasons i had tried.
I was told that was being upgraded/updated, but come to find out, it is not or it is not yet. Either way, I would like to know what the time frame is to having a functional linux based VPS?
6 weeks is what I have. We are looking to deploy Virtuozzo for Linux and adapt a suitable business model into our reseller plans so we do not have to go back on our linux VPS commitment on reseller plans
As you mentioned, HSphere VPS is just not mature enough
At this time, no we went with another freevps server instead. We are considering in the coming months to launch another VPS offering but it will be a fully managed(as in 100%), linux andor windows.
