Customizing OSCommerce

Are there any pages out there with simple directions on how to customize the osCommerce stuff? Change logo’s, and look and feel of the store sorta things. I see you can admin all the products and categories but I am wondering how you go about customizing it.

The low down on it is that OSC is not easy to customize greatly, there is a fork of OSC called zencart that is much more customizable.
