CVS Repository?

I am currently looking at ways to distribute code to my fellow coders and came across CVS. I was wondering if i can setup a CVS repository on my webspace so that all the coders can access and change files but im not sure if this is at all possible.
Has anyone had any experiences with this?

I am 99% sure you won’t be able to do this, you might however be able to do a webCVS, not really a CVS at all, but a web repository.
