Any ETA on when the datacenter might be back up? Couldn’t be worse timing as I’m meeting with one of my web clients in an hour 
yes timing is horrible no doubt
We are working to get as many updates from them as possible and have staff standing by should any problems occur in recovery of the links as well.

I thought the same as well, rather scary that this can happen.
Redundant lines are not good when they interconnect at the same provider at NAP.
We will be having another provider(called fiberlight) in the coming month but they are physically installing new fiber at both datacenters.
We were under the understanding that FPL had diverse entry and services(hardware) there for us as well, but it seems that is not the case or something major had broken down in the hardware at NAP.
BTW all has come up.

It seems I don’t get what redundant lines are then. I thought redundant lines referred to having more than one connection line to the Internet without any relation between them.

we will be addressing this by adding another provider as well in the coming month. It was supposed to be up March 8th for testing but there has been some delay looking more like 20th time.
