I had two folders that were secured using different usernames and passwords (through filemanager/webshell4). Normally I get a prompt for my username/password. I don’t know when it happened but now neither directory prompts me, and just simply gives me access. I just noticed it today, and have not been working on my sites for the last few days so either it just happened or it’s been that way for a while.
Any idea what’s going on? I’m on Win5. I suggest other users check to see if their secure areas actually still are. You might have a false sense of security.
Luckily I had some other forms of security of my own in place, othewise my administration pages would have been wide open.
