Do you restart IIS everyday?

Vortechhosting has been annoying me by that they have to restart IIS everyday. They say they put 1000+ accounts on the server and it is why…

restart of IIS cause downtime EVERY which is bothering here coz their early morning is our office hours…

do you restart IIS like a hell everyday?

We restart IIS when it is needed, on win6 with metabase problems on the latest update, that was more than we ever wanted, we typiclaly restart IIS only if there is a problem reuqiring a restart, on windows 2003 server(only ones you will be on), we typically do not restart, but recycle only pools, which is only about 1-2 seconds and only effects 1/5 to 1/8th of the sites on the whole server.
