If you guys going to increase the prices for resellers a effective date more then a day would be nice and not a sudden change.
Im working with some new potential accounts and have already told them my cost for a domain transfer and I can’t change the price. Now Im going to lose money with the paypal fees and the price I charge for transfers if they accept the contract. I have 3 transfers that I already quoted my price, I will now have to pay out of my pocket the overages meaning I lost money.
Just fare warnings would be nice to your resellers so they can get there websites and things in order. My domain sells the past year as been pretty good, as you already know and seen, and a little more notice would of been nice. We all have a business plan of what we charge and what we profit including your resellers.
Although we have not increased our hosting prices ever since we started hosting services. If we were to increase our hosting prices, we would give enough notice.
We buy domain services.
We got 48 hr notice from domain registrar for their price increase. We had been paying them increased prices from last few days.
agreed, but godaddy and netsol did this recnetly as well, enom gave a 10 day notice I think, opensrs hasn’t given any increase notice yet, but is rumoring to change soon!
Quick question: I got two prices, presumably because I have a regular “customer” account as well as a “reseller” account (which I never use, as I just register all domains in my customer account and bill in my CP, and never could figure out how to integrate the two). So which price is it? $9.45 or $9.25?
