Hello,
When I install DotNetNuke locally I follow the instructions and create a virtual directory and so on.
However, if I want to install this on one of my domains on JodoHost where do I put the install?
Do I just install all the files in the root of the site? And then notify support for the correct rights to be setup?
Thanks

AND… is there a reason I would want it in the root verses a folder OR visa versa?
Either way, you need to request the permissions be set, thisis something we do many times each day and are very familiar, just ask for the folder permissions to be set for DNN, and the DB (please list server and dbname, and user), needs DBO

I understand the permissions and DBO needs… I am not certain if I should be dumping the whole DNN3.x into the root or should I create a folder under the root???
Is there a pro or con to either way? I know if I create a folder then you have to do another step, but then how do I make my main www.mydomain.com automatically go to that folder? That is why I wasn’t sure if I should just dump the DNN3 files in the root or create the folder.
Please clarify… thanks.
I would put in the root so I don’t have to redirect, personally.

That’s what I eneded up doing… sending TT in for rights.
