Did sometihng happen, everything has not been working good the last hour all sites including jodohost websites, control panels etc.??
Jodohost.com is working.. CP was a bit slow few minutes back. ok now.
If you still have problem, please contact support.
I am still up and have been using win2, win8, win10, and web2, along with the CP, I had no issue at all. Working from home for the last 3 hours, before that I was at the DC, no issues either place.
Just saw something on internet pulse:

Prehaps you are on that verio from your ISP and it is causing some issues?
Yes, its timing out at verio by the trace routes
Got replies coming both places now(both topics), yes Verio is the issue, Internap should detect this soon and start routing around verio, unless your side it pushing it down verio regardless of the requested route.
Since that verio route is a ways out in the trace, I don’t know if we can do anything about it or not, but only people coming via Verio would have this issue from what I see.
ok, just tell Live chat please, when someone reports a problem, to not insists there is no problem that is so frustrating.
The fact is there is no problem, we can’t control the whole internet.
I know, just saying, if someone complains about everything being down, maybe they should find out like you did, to see if there is something wrong, I wasnt even aware of thta link you gave me to check, now I do.
I don’t think there were aware of it either ![]()
They can check all out internal and external monitoring and not get that issue unless it was routed via Verio, and they do not route via Verio, nor do I here at my house.
I go via at&t here.
Well then perhaps they should be made more aware of these sorts of things then, I mean they are supposed to be support.
I’d say that the responsibility of the host ends after the backbone. If your ISP or someone who supports them goes out, it’s not Jodohost’s problem, it’s your ISPs. Look to them for support in this type of case.

The best we can do is a host is check all the possible issues from our end, network, maintenance bulletins, your site, DNS.
If we cannot detect an issue, we let the customer know honestly and tell him look the site is opening fine from your end, try contacting your ISP.
Your ISP has more control on many of these routing issues then we do.
We do our best providing support. Yesterday, Tanmaya was with a customer for 2 hours discussing a programming related issue that had nothing to do with support. We go far beyond what many hosts may define as support to help customers. But its not possible sometimes for us to be aware of everything that could be happening beyond our network
I understand, and support is usually great especially Tanmaya.
My advice is maybe teaching support to check the reports that stephen used to determine my problem, instead of telling me everything is allright when it’s not. I was unaware of the site Stephen used until he gave me the link.
Even Stephen didn’t know till you showed him the traceroute. And the first time he looked at the traceroute, he couldn’t see any problem either, given the fact that your traceroute was in condensed form.
However yes, I always advocate clients to provide traceroutes incase they are facing a supposed network issue. If the tech didn’t ask for traceroute, then that is a possible deficiency from our end. I’ll ensure this is done in the future
Yes, sorry for 2 thrends, I started in open forum, but didn’t want to put my frustrations where public could see it, so switch to customer discussions, I didn’t want any bad feedback given to potential customers visiting your forum.
Oh please, make your criticism public. The idea of the Customer Only Discussion forum is to keep certain customer sensitive discussions in private, not to hide anything. This forum has always been an open forum and feel free to express any criticism publicly.
It keeps us on our toes, and trust me I do take these messages seriously while at the same time try to defend our policies. We are not a perfect host, we continually refine ourself based on customer feedback
Ok Thanks Yash… We all learn when stuff like this happens and know what to do next time and what to check. ![]()
Just as a note, Yash was actually against the idea of the customer only as he thought it might be seen as wanting to hide something of us, while I was intending it to be only to hide a reseller URL etc if they wanted to post it for peer review, etc. You know as a reseller not everyone whats their URL in the public where google scours the forums every day and has it indexed and cached for long periods of time.
Alot of resellers, don’t think of google indexing URL’s,names, etc. in forums. Resellers should be careful. I notice alot of host resellers when there host name and sometimes just regular peoples names, in google, it shows links back to the JodoHost forum or other hosting forums, showing where they resell for.
I myself, never post names or Url in any forums for this reason.
