Win32 is really the only one with major issues. Had an attack + the spam bombardment, and then the storage unlicking from it, and I think the slow work on the storage for the mail + log file searching may have been due to the storage link dying, but I saw no logs for anything like this in checking.
The windows 2003 servers are seeing some issues yes, but the 2008 servers are running very well overall.
And I don’t know what you mean ‘no end in sight’ it was not even close to 24 hours down, it went down about 6am on Sunday morning, and then was an extended downtime about 9 hours while I was working on the logs, blocking the attacks on files, and then it came up and was working well until the storage problem on the node. Now its up on a new node, this is still on 2003, and will be moving to 2008 soon, but we are having to deal with some issues with Parallels on it, and its holiday in India, and in Russia and their high levels staffs not in till Tuesday.
I do apologize about the time is was down, and looking forward to having on windows 2008 ASAP.
Thanks Stephen
i said ‘no end in sight’ because there was no ETA about the latest issue.
anyway - glad its up and hope it stays that way ![]()
It had been up 35 minutes or so at the point you posted though ![]()
no ETA doesn’t mean no end, just hard to know at all with the way things had/have been going with it through the day.
