Some of my clients are complaining that when they send and email to another person outside of their domain it takes up to a day to appear in that person’s mailbox. Any ideas on why this is occurring?

Yes, the mail server is currently being flooded, staff is working to clean up the mass by a probably spammer 
Should have things in control in 12 hours. All legitimate email is still going out, but yes they are getting slightly delayed
we blocked off the spammer..
things should come under control within the next few hours
