I have a ticket open, 107423, that has been worked on for a couple weeks now. I’ve asked it to be escalated to a higher level tech or management to try to help. Basically, mail10 keeps bouncing messages back with an SPF link that doesn’t work, but most likely saying it’s failing SPF. However, when you look at the IP’s, it shouldn’t be failing SPF. When I ask for the logs showing the bounce and failure, they say they aren’t able to find any logs. Or they modify my customer’s SPF record, which has no bearing on incoming mail from another domain.. I’m not sure if Stephen or another manager watches these forums any longer, but I would be very appreciative if anyone can help me out from JH with a more precise reason the messages are getting bounced, or with a solution to get these emails to come through. Thank you.
We are all here, but the problem is that the sending domain is using IPs NOT in their own SPF records so it fails. Further qmail is a finicky beast and doesn’t allow selective ignorance of SPF records. This has nothing to do with spamassassin, and all to do with the sending domain having incorrect SPF records that must be fixed to enable mail to work properly.
