error messages on win23

hey there

win23 doesnt seem to be giving full ASP error messages
all it gives is -

[FONT=“Times New Roman”][SIZE=“5”]HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error[/SIZE][/FONT]

i think this may be the case on other servers recently, but this is the only one i can see right now.

(and yes - i have longed set my explorer to give me full error messages)

can this be fixed?

UPDATE: it seems to give the error when the page doesnt exist.
but sure it should give a 404 error, not the generic one above?

I agree, should be giving 404, but it seems to be trying to POST against a page that should return a 404 so maybe that is the reason.
