escaping whole html tags

Yes ive googled it. I need to display tags (ie ) without them being processed. One solution is ofcourse to use a text box. Is there another way?

thanks in advance

Try using < and > instead of the actual < and >. They shouldn’t be parsed as actual HTML TAGS when constructing the DOM.

Hope this helps,

Hey thanks for the reply. Long nights coding and I seem to forget the simple things

You could simply do a ReplaceList(MyString, “<,>,&”, “<,>,&”) either on a usage by usage basis or actually throw it into a CFFunction so you can reuse the code whenever you need it.
