FLV Pause during play

Hi,

I have a customer playing 20MB of FLV file.
In his “OLD Server” (Not in jodo but locate in the USA) the file was stemming fine with no Pause during play.
After he move his website to my Account on jodo, the FLV i Pause 4-6 times during play. this customer is impotent for me and I’m looking for a way to solve his problem.

his account is on Windows Server.

i post a ticket to Jodo Support (Ticket ID: VZY-64085-949) and after thay check the answer was that everything is fine with the server.

I like to know if someone had experience with playing large FLV file on jodo host.
Is there will be Anny improvement if i will move his account to UNIX server, or assign static IP to his domain.

I have checked this and also experienced a pause, but loading the file directly was very fast always staying over 2mbps which was PLENTY to not have a delay, static ip won’t help at all, we have been researching if it is something with IIS or not, as the file itself loads plenty fast to not have such delay.

dos No body is playing FLV on jodo servers ?.

I have a site that experiences this at times. My guess is that it is happening when server load is high. This is on a shared windows server.

manopb, it has nothing to do with load at all, I have tested and get hte same thing even on empty servers sometimes. it would not explain why download speeds are perfectly level at all time either.

Perhaps, network congestion. I only see it, when it happens on my site, during US business hours, usually on weekdays.

We run a gigabit network and even our gigs of daily backups can’t saturate it.
