Does anyone know of any forum hosting scripts available (for free)?

Ie, something which allows people to signup and create a forum.

I found one which looked brilliant, but it doesn’t work on JodoHost for some reason (see http://support.jodohost.com/reseller-support/9840-php-error-query.html ). It works fine on my local PC, and the developer has no idea why it’s not working.

Anyway, if anyone knows of any, I’d be extremely grateful.

I see the “project has been abandoned because of htaccess problems over many hosts”.

There are many other scripts available. One source is PHP :: Scripts and Programs :: Discussion Boards. I usually make a choice of application by how active/responsive their forums are.
