I’ve tried using the forum search a number of times this morning to check for previous posts about things and each time the search results in zero hits for very common search terms - i.e. try doing a search for ftp in all open forums - you’ll get no results whatsover - hard to believe - any chance you can improve your search engine?!

not sure what you are seeing, I do a search for PASV and get quite good results

Probably an eliminate short keyword screen… something like FTP is too short - anything four letters or more probably works fine. (at least in my quick tests)
eg: tes ==> 0 results
test ===> multiple results
more of an annoyance than an issue IMHO
I did a search for “vps ftp” the other day and got no results the 3 character limit was very annoying!
Try this work around:
search: vps* ftp*
