I pruned the Forum of all Users with 0 posts and who haven’t logged in for at least 1 year. These are all spammers.
Also, I am thinking we should upgrade the Forum to vBulletin Suite 4.0. This has a blog and CMS, so we can post tutorials and blog entries in one system. Thoughts?
I installed TypePad anti-spam on the forum. It will only moderate posts from users with less than 1 post (essentially new signups). Let’s see how this works

How did you get the addons? I tried many times to get the vbmod site authentication to prove valid customer and just taking so long I gave up
