FTP on Win11 = slooowww

Hi,

FTP response on win11 is very very slow - each FTP command taking 1-2 seconds to complete.

Is something holding up the FTP process on win11?

I also just got an “Unable to Create Archive” error in WebShell when I tried to archive up some files:

ERROR: WEBSHELL :: Unable to create archive

FTP problem seems to have cleared up now (might have been the ticket I sent being addressed), however I’m still getting the webshell error when trying to archive.

Why am I posting this here anyway? :slight_smile:

Thanks for that Stephen. I’ve tracked down the WebShell error to a file with a looong filename.

Webshell doesn’t like archiving it, so might be because the file name is too long ( > 64 chars).

I’ve posted at PSoft to see if they can address that in a future release.

Interesting, actually I just found about 14 copies of that achive in the webshell temp, it was doing it half way, any dying leaving scraps behind, just cleaned that up now.

That’s a lot, I didn’t try that many times.. I learn quick I do. :slight_smile: I assume the zip process creates several working file chunks then puts them together when finished.
