Ftp timing out

I can’t login to ftp. Submitted a ticket already.

Also, some script errors are occurring but can’t diagnose them as can’t login to ftp to get the detailed logs.

I found that I was logging in to 64.156.220.251. I changed it to ftp.domainname.com and it started working. Do I continue using it that way? Thanks.
