Guys we got some major issue with this DSPAM

I have spent the last 2 days dealing with problems with this DSPAM. Support ticketS I send to you guys took a very long time this weekend to get back to me.

We need to get these issues addressed, I got a very unhappy client, because I got no notfications a support ticket was put in when mail 5 went down both days.

  1. Clients sending me mail to my main company address and its being returned to them marked as SPAM, very embarresing.
  1. Support function in admin panel has settings to send notications to me when a ticket is made, they either don’t get to me or is marked as SPAM and put in my SPAM folder. I white listed my name and it worked, but today it didn’t work. Anyways why am I whitelisting my own name, shouldn’t have to.

  2. Can you guys post in forum when things are being worked on with mail5, cleints come to my via my live chat I have no answers to give them and your live chat this weekend was very slow starting the chat when I needed them.

Apart from the mail delay issues we had earlier, dspam is functioning fine. All my email is coming in normally

  1. If an email is marked as spam that isn’t, report it to us and we’ll train it as not spam. No spam filter is 100% accurate, and from what I see our results are pretty acurate for the most. certain newsletters and mass-emails may get caught, you need to whitelist them

  2. Not seen this, open ticket

  3. Will do. We shouldn’t really have more issues with delays.. there are a few things we are fine tuning and everything would be stable

I will see if I can get the E-mail that was sent back.

Support has been working on this for couple days [RS #DMR-58091-975], support just E-mailed about hour ago again.

Why would I even have to whitelist my own domain name, shouldn’t have to do that. if this is happening to other Resellers, they may not even know they have open client support tickets if they don’t whitelist thereselves.

That would only be if they set a rule to filter it, otherwise it would just go to their inbox

Email tagged as spam below from my customer. Important mail being returned is not a good thing! Customers leave quick when e-mail does not get delivered. Possibly, JH has moved to quickly in wrong direction due to the overwhelming spam problem. An education course for all users may be better choice than more spam filters?

  1. Quit using forms on webpages that embeds e-mail address for bots to harvest.

  2. stop embeding e-mail addresses in webpages completely.

  3. place an e-mail address graphic on pages instead.

  4. use cgi or php or anything that conceals the e-mail addresses instead of placing the address in the html source code.

  5. At registra level…use specific email address that goes thru anti-spam filtration.

Note: Importance: High <<< in email below, email not delivered.

Returned e-mail below: Does not look like spam to me!

Mike,
The original email below did not make it to us.
The sender at “Edited Out” sent it to another person in his company, who was able to send it to us.

Why did the first one not come to us?

Also, I received an email from “Edited Out” at “Edited Out” at 9:15 a.m.
A second report that she sent at 9:30 was returned to her.
She tried to send it another time, and I still have not received it.

Thanks,
“Edited Out”

Sorry, this message appears to be spam (#5.6.0) (in reply to end of DATA
command)

We understand there are a few issues here.
But we are receiving very very few complaints regarding the implementation of this system so far, and far more people are reporting vast drops in spam..

We are working out the chinks as I said

That message appears to be due to greylisting. DSPAM doesn’t reject an email outright. If the sender was sending the email via a server on residential IP, thats trouble for them

Why am I still not getting my support notifications from my clients, I just freaking lost a client. I had another support ticket I was not aware about becasue i got no notifcation.

I white listed my name 4 days ago to where my suppport notications go to, it worked once and stopped.

We need to get this fixed A.S.A.P.

We’re looking into the loop back issue
