H-Sphere's Future

Hi,

I am interested in knowing if P-Soft plans to revamp the sign-up logic to reflect the following routine, or something similar:

[ol]
[li]Customer searches for domain.
[/li][li]Customer adds value-added services, such as Private Registration, to domain.
[/li][li]Customer chooses length of registration.
[/li][li]Customer is given web hosting option they can select from.
[/li][li]Other web hosting related options are offered to the customer. ie. SSL certs, Coupon Codes, etc.
[/li][li]All this is completed before any transaction is made.
[/li][/ol]

Thanks.

PSOFT is making significant improvements to its Domain management and registration features. We should see this in the next version. Comodo SSL certs can be directly bought from the HSphere control panel also, but thats in the next version too. Coupon codes, we can install an add-on to improve this.

I have still not seen any worthwhile competitor to HSphere. The only one that has come to my attention is far to buggy and the company is far too small to make it attractive to hosts

There are 3rd party developers using api’s to utilize hosting and domain services offered by some well known companies in the industry, but they don’t compare to H-Sphere’s features, stability and commitment; at least not yet.

I’m happy to hear that P-Soft is giving attention to domain features that are long overdue.

Thanks

Yash, it would be great if you could install the PROMO addon. Promotions really suck badly right now.

How will this work for current Comodo SSL resellers? Will it work like domain registration is now?

I really hope they start adding features for resellers that are already resellers of other services like, domains, and SSL Certs, otherwise there is the constant need to work around Hsphere so that no one sees it until they are signed up.
