With regards to the hanging app pools on Win8 and Win13, was that the .NET app pools? I thought .NET was fairly stable, so are we looking at some kind of bug in .NET which prevents pools from being cycled?
Are those servers both .NET 2.0 or 1.1?

We have had same isue onf Win13 for the last couple months. Sit freezes a lot. Got put on a new pool and seems better now.
Just goes to show, servers should go from 12 to 14 like floors of buildings. ![]()
Win8 had the major issue with hanging application pools, it liteerally had 4 pools that had over 20 IIS processes spawned.
Win13 seems very sluggish now. Anything up?
Yea, already been checking it here.
