Hi all,
Anyone else from Oz getting higher than normal pings to their sites? Mine, from Perth, are usually ~300ms, but now up around ~340ms.
Will try again in the morning, but it’s been higher now for a couple of days… what might be the reason?
I really wish there was some more news on the Oz servers…

From Sydney. I have’nt checked for a while but yes 340ms was average last time i checked.
Sounds like Internap may have been routing around some problems. There were somemajor major fiber line cuts this week in Atlanta and Washington DC.
Whatever they cut I hope they don’t fix it how it was as now we finally have decent pings and not the continuous troute changes! We are now going through sprintlink to your servers. Seeing some high packet loss on some nodes but the route is not solid on each ping.
