I have a Windows VPS and recently hotmail is blocking one of the domains on my VPS saying it’s spamming. I know hotmail is picky and half of the time doesn’t work. I have clients who’s email address are at hotmail and they never receive my emails. Is there a way to check to see if hotmail is really blocking me or they are just deleting the emails on accident?
Any ideas??
Hotmail doesn’t make it easy to check, get an account and try to send some messages, look in the junk mail folder and see if you can find any error on it.
I have tried it out and I got the test emails I sent myself.
You can check your SMTP logs to be sure if the email was accepted by hotmail servers or not. If accepted, the best way to ensure delivery is to have the client add your sender email address in his address book.
