How long for dedicated IP?

Around how long should a domain that was been switched to a dedicated IP take?

I expected under 24 hours because propagation is so quick these days but it is now approaching 48 hours.

Is there any way to test that everything is correct?

Contact support, their could be an issue with the IP assigned to you
