It’s absolutly awful and has put be behind the last 2 days as I can’t tolerate it.. Please advise…
It is cronjobs making it happen, but I am unsure why they have been so heavy the last 2 days. 4:00am to 7:00am server time is when all billing crons normally run, but it seems as if they are running longer than usual.
The CP sure is slow at present. I have to reload almost every page to get it to display correctly, often moer than once. I generally wait about 2 - 3 minutes before trying each reload. Make working with the CP almost impossible
I havetn worked in control since Friday.. I can’t take it. Everytime I go to work in them, its awful…
Not sure how much good it will do, but I’ve logged a trouble ticket: RSW-45822-699
This happen few months ago, control panel got really really slow.. I don’t know what they did to correct it, but it needs to be done again…
Just found myself in a difficult situation.
I use a single account for a number of my smaller clients. I am attempting to move one client to his own CP. So deleted domain from shared account and created a new account for the client. Only problem is I am unable to moderate the account as the CP always hangs either when listing accounts to moderate or when displaying the new account details. If I am lucky to get to the point where the “create” link is displayed, nothing happens when I click it - even waiting 10 minutes!!. I have been trying for over an hour now without success.
The outcome, is that I now have a very unhappy customer who has no website and no email. A simple job that should have taken less than 5 minutes is turning out to be a nightmare!
Hanging on account creation is typically a different issue not to do with the CP. Please log in a ticket for that
What is being done about the problem with the slow CP?
Will its the CP, and it needs to be fixed, it is awful… It is very fruststratingto sit and sit and sit here and pages dont load… I am Very activated if you cant tell. You see all the complaints here about the CP its not one personl… Ive gotten no work done in CP since Friday…

We are working on it with PSOFT. This isn’t a solution with an instant fix. It involves software limitations and the size of the database. We have one of the largest hsphere hosts with a huge database.
We are looking at further optimisations, and possibly splitting the CP server into two parts (although load is really not the issue).
I apologise for the issue. I know its frustrating. I’ve also been spending time waiting for the CP to load, so has our team. It slows down our support as well so this isn’t a small issue for us

Last night, as it was taking up to 15 minutes to load the screen containing the new user details, it was natural to assume that the problem was related. However, CP speeds are (almost) acceptable this morning, but still not able to create account.
Trouble ticket done
At this point i have the backgroud jobs suspended for last few hours. Just for my info, has it been all that slow still?
I’ve just got back into the office. It seems that the CP is running much faster now, but as yet I haven’t tried to do much (apart from retrying to create an account without success so far)
nzkiwi,
Please submit a ticket about the creation problem, it sounds as if there is a ghost record in the DB keeping it locked up.
The original ticket was opened for exactly that reason - I couldn’t create an account. I had thought it was due to the slowness of the CP. If it isn’t, the reason for creating the ticket still stands, so I don’t see the need to start a new one.
After a Live chat session, where even support could not create an account, a new ticket has been opened.
In the meantime, I have had to re-add the domain to my shared account. That took over 10 minutes to do. You can never be sure if an action succeeds. It took 3 attempts to add the domain, with a 5 minute delay between attempts. I am now trying to add some forwarding email addresses. After an hour and a half and many retries, I have successfully added only 2 addresses. I have been attempting to add address 3 for 45 minutes without success.
I appreciate Jodo needs to work with Psoft over this issue, but it is extremely frustrating, as for all practical purposes, the CP can not be used. Currently, I can use the CP to browse for information (sometimes I need to refresh a page to get all the info to display), but as far as actually doing anything… forget it.
Is this problem general to all users, or is it user specific?
Its a problem for everyone and again needs to be fixed A.S.A.P. This is over a week now this CP has been very slow. I don’t mean to be angry, but this is slowing your clients down, we need to get this corrected. I don’t even go to control panels I get to frustrated.
If its Psoft fault then they need to get it corrected and get on the ball, if there support is that bad, then it has gone down, they use to be good.
This is ridicious. [COLOR=“RoyalBlue”]TIME IS MONEY!
The control panel is acting slow in patches. Right now its performing fine.
We are working on it, we are putting in alot of resources to resolve this issue.
I’ll give a time frame for this shortly
Its been slow again now, as there is a cron that is hanging on a certain user. We are trying to suspend this cron in order to allow regualr CP operations, however these cron jobs are VERY important and must run at some point. It is hard to have a “good time” when you have worldwide client base ![]()
This one account it is getting hung on should not happen however.
