How can I set a signature? I do not see this option in my CP.

This option is not present in my CP. It’s neither in Edit Profile nor Edit Options. Check screenshot:

Under mine its the first option under Settings & Options

I also have an option under Quick Links
I tried this and it says:
Sorry, you are not permitted to have a signature. 
Well I would suspect that this is something that support is going to have to look at then… your permissions are obviously different than mine.
Time to drop support a note I would think.

That is a recent change for the usergroup you are in to prevent the masses of spammers I had to disable the signature feature, I know who you are and have changed your group.
We had people signing up just to get sig spam for google.
