Is HSPHERE a little sluggish as well this morning?
The last few days there seems to be a lot of intermittan sluggish/slow issues when dealing with hspehere, jodohost forums, and email.
Please advise.
Hsphere CP - I’m aware and we need to go back to our daily routine maintenance. Will work on this asap.
Jodohost forums - A customer’s script looped for a URL callback and caused problems yesterday.
Email - Mail4 I’m looking into it.
There were no intermittent issues with email to my awareness in the last few days.
A customer flooded mail4 today with spam slowing down email delivery (but no email loss). That has been fixed (queue cleaned and end-user suspended)
The only slowness I experiened with JH forums over the last couple days is that email notifications of responses to subscribed threads were arriving HOURS delayed.
The slowness I have experienced is usually the last 5 percent of the page loading… well… looking at the progress bar it looks like that.
I have checked this from 4 machines on 2 different ISP’s and I have checked the ususual trace routes and such.
It isn’t all the time, but it has been more noticeable recently. I believe Tanmaya or Yash stated there were some changes that needed to be made or something with routine maintenance.
re: forum notification slowness - no problem this am… got this notice right away.
It was DEFINITELY an issue earlier. Much faster now that the queue on Mail 4 has been cleared. You can see the posts on Mail 4 for the details.
