https://mydomain.com vs http://mydomain.com

Hi,

One of my customers has typed https://rhmware.com instead of http://rhmware.com and landed on a car dealer’s page instead of mine.

Can anybody explain how this can happen and how I can make both requests go to my site?

Thanks

Hans

HI,

please create a ticket, We are checking it.

Problem is resolved.

No Need to create ticket.

Now I am getting “page can not be displayed”. Is that the expected behavior?

Yes. This is expected behavior as SSL is not installed for the domain you are requesting with https

Ok. Thanks.

I have seen this issue time and time again with Jodohost customers for over a year… Has anyone looked into a permanent solution for this? It’s kind of an embarrasing problem to have, don’t you think?

It is hsphere adding an IP to the IIS host header with no entry that cuases this, effectivly making one domain in the shared IP pool a dedicated IP.

So, is that saying there’s no permanent solution for this?
