index.php not directory index

Hi,

I am having a problem with osCommerce. It is installed to the “catalog” folder on my website. If I type in mywebsite.com then osCommerce comes up.

But if I type in mywebsite.com (without naming the index.php page), it just says “you are unauthorised to view this page”. Looks like it is trying to view the directory listing.

If have tried setting directory indexes (via the control panel) to:

  • index.php
  • catalog/index.php
  • /catalog/index.php

But none of them make a difference. Am I doing something wrong?

Could you enter your Account username into your user profile (click on User CP from top). I’ll go into your account and have a look
