My client wants to install a search software onto the host, am I able to install something like this?

I don’t think that will work, looks made for a dedicated server or even an intranet server.
Anyone has alternative suggestion for a search engine that would work on a asp.net share host?
do you just need to index pages on the site, docs like word files, pdf, etc or what?
mainly just pages, but PDFs would be nice…
