Hello Everyone: Sometime recently I started having problems opening the control panel using internet explorer 8. It may have happend when Ie8 was updated. I can not login to my control panel to make paypal payments.
I load the control panel link , then login and the screen goes blank.
If I use Opera I can login but cannot make a paypal payment because of the known Opera bug.
Some cookie or something is set wrong in ie8 I believe, however I cannot find what may be wrong.
any advise would be appreciated because online live chat has been useless. They just tell me to install Mozilla

I would also suggest using mozilla firefox but since you don’t seem open to that 
IE8 compatibility mode can be switched as outlined here:
