I have a idea. Is there anyway that jodohost can publish for consumtion (RSS) the network announcements. What I am thinking is that you can just publish what you write in the support forum to like xml or rss and the resellers can automaticly pick it up and publish it on our sites. The problem is that sometimes we get tickets saying that the site is down and we have to check the forum to see that you rebooted then we have to tell our clients. If we had an rss then we can publish it ourselve and our customers can look on our website for outages.

A thought that might help out some support issues for the resellers.

I’d rather publish out new monitoring system, it is great, using OpManager. It doesn’t have a public interface, but we are working to get something from it

only problem is sometimes the announcements have stuff only related to jodohost eg links

or they mention stuff only for resellers (like updating the eManager thing (server alias’s))

so this might be a problem for resellers just puttin that info straight into there own sites

yes, but the server status via opmanager simply says “win2 win5 win6” we are doing some URL monitoring for certain URLs, why would need to be excluded from the listing.

I wouldn’t even mind the jodohost thing, because I can even write something to do a search and replace on jodohost.

What about ipMonitor? It works great and it is easy to connect to via ASP or PHP.

I have never been impressed by ipmonitor and have used it for years.

Opmanager is far better.
