Linux - Directory Listing by default?

Hey,

I just setup a client on web4 and when you go to the main site you get a directory listing. We removed the index and login files, but I didn’t think you would get a directory listing by default. Is there a way to disable that if there isn’t a standard startup file there?

i belive you can disable directory viewing/listing from within the Control panel on a per domain setting.

i know this to be the case on windows but would think the same on linux

Set “Indexes” (under “Settings”) to “Disabled” and wait for 5 mins for configuration changes to be applied.
